Mcguires Lodge

The bar is beautifully finished in Macrocarpa and recycled Rimu woods and is well stocked with a wide selection of New Zealand wines, West Coast and New Zealand beers, spirits and liqueurs.

The lodge comprises of eighteen spacious units, all centrally heated, all equipped with queen size beds and/or king singles, ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities as well as breakfast making facilities. The bathrooms are beautifully tiled with high pressured open showers. We have an outdoor spa which overlooks the magnificent views of the mountains and breathtaking views of South Westland.

World Heritage Hotel

The main hotel complex consists of a newly refurbished reception area with an internet café, buffet restaurant, house bar, games room, public bar and bistro.

The hotel consists of 54 centrally heated, ground floor units. All with TV, 4 channel in-house video’s, tea and coffee making facilities and in-room telephones. All units have ample off-street parking. A free modern video library is available (enquire at reception).

The buffet restaurant consists of a three course meal with the choice of beef sirloin, roast chicken and roast pork, a selection of vegetables and salads, desserts and to finish complimentary tea and coffee. Continental and fully cooked breakfasts are available from 7.30am in the buffet restaurant.

The public bar houses the big screen television.

Collyer House

Collyer House has been purpose-built and designed to offer four quality guest rooms, all with magnificent views of the Okuru River and the Sea. In this tranquil setting the only sounds you will hear are the native birds and the sea pounding nearby.

Collyer House is nestled against native bush and each room has French Doors opening onto a verandah. All rooms share a breathtaking view of the Okuru River, Tasman Sea and Open Bay Island. The rooms have been tastefully furnished using antiques and quality linen and offer the utmost in comfort and relaxation.

The guest lounge offers a great place to relax and mingle with other guests in front of a huge stone fireplace or around a country-style kitchen table- A great place to meet the locals when they pop in for a visit. There is also a separate lounge for relaxation.

Neroli is the fourth generation of a pioneering family and after travelling has returned to Haast to build Collyer House. Neroli enjoys sharing her knowledge and the history of this remote area with interested guests.

Dining and dinner are available by arrangement and a hearty cooked breakfast is included in the tariff.

Heritage Park Lodge

Wilderness accommodation with 16 ground floor ensuite units, all units have their own fridge, TV, eletric blankets, heating, hair dryer & tea/coffee & breakfast making facilities.

The local supermarket is 200 metres away and can cater to all your grocery needs as well as a number of eating establishments within two minutes walking distance.

Wilderness Backpackers

See nature at its very best, spend a night in our friendly clean accommodation, fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities as well as being wheel chair friendly. The spacious internal conservatory is a great spot is relax and un-wind.

The local supermarket is right next door for all your grocery needs as well as number of eating establishments within two minutes walking distance.
